Dave Ravie started researching his family history in 1990. In 2004 he took early retirement from his job and turned his hobby into a full time business. Since then he has built a world wide client base with research areas in all countries of the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, the USA, South Africa and New Zealand.

The Scottish Genealogy Society will host the 22nd Scottish Association of Family History Societies (SAFHS) Conference in Edinburgh on Saturday 25th June 2011, 09.30-16.30.

The venue for the Conference will be Adam House, 3 Chambers Street, Edinburgh, EH1 1HR.

Fife Family History Fair

The next Fife Family History Fair will take place next year on 17 Sept 2011 in the Rothes Halls, Glenrothes. As the 1911 Census will be available in 2011, the Fair will have a Census theme.
